Synopses

Aru Shah and the End of Time

Twelve-year-old Aru Shah has a habit of stretching the truth to fit in at school. While her classmates travel to exotic places, she stays at home in the Museum of Ancient Indian Art and Culture where her mother works, and invents stories about being royalty.

Aru Shah and the Song of Death

The god of love’s bow and arrow have been stolen, and the thief is using them to turn people into heartless fighting-machine zombies. Aru is framed for the crime and must find the arrow by the next full moon or be kicked out of the Otherworld.

Aru Shah and the Tree of Wishes

With war between the devas and the demons close, the Otherworld is on high alert. Aru and her friends are sent to rescue two targets, including one who is about to speak a prophecy that must not reach the Sleeper.

Aru Shah and the City of Gold

After making a wish on the tree of wishes, Aru cannot remember what she asked for. She is confronted by a new sister who looks familiar and claims to be the Sleeper’s daughter, and Aru questions why the adults she has loved and trusted have failed her.
