Berkfield Garden Gate 105x130 cm Corten Steel Tree Design

Made from corten steel, this gate develops a protective rust-like surface over time when exposed to the elements. It arrives in a normal metal colour and gradually forms its characteristic finish outdoors. Treatment & maintenance

Corten steel is naturally anti-corrosive and develops a protective rust layer when exposed to atmospheric conditions, so painting is not required. The gate is supplied before this rusted finish has fully developed and will arrive in a normal metal colour.

If preferred, the rusting process can be accelerated by spraying the surface with soap water and salt water. Avoid contact with the developing rust layer to help prevent staining on clothing.
