Designed to bring a more architectural finish to boundary fencing, the Berkfield Garden Gate is a corten steel garden gate with a clean, full-panel design. Sized at 85 x 3 x 125 cm, it creates a defined entrance for a garden or patio while offering added privacy through its solid construction.

Made from corten steel, also known as weathering steel, this gate develops a protective rust-like surface when exposed to the elements. That natural weathering process helps protect the material from corrosion and removes the need for painting. It arrives in a standard metal finish rather than a rusted appearance, with the surface changing over time to the distinctive brown tone associated with corten steel. A lockable system is fitted for additional security.

Treatment & maintenance

This gate is supplied in its normal metal colour and will develop its rusted surface gradually over time. The weathering process can be accelerated by spraying the surface with soap water and salt water. Avoid contact with the developing rust layer to help prevent stains on clothing.
