Bringing smartphone imaging neatly into reach, the Celestron Smartphone Adapter DX Kit is a compact digiscoping and astroimaging accessory for use with telescopes, binoculars, spotting scopes, monoculars and microscopes. It fits eyepieces from 29mm to 45mm in diameter, including 1. 25-inch eyepieces, and pairs the adapter with a Bluetooth shutter release remote for still images and start/stop video recording.

A flexible phone platform accommodates a wide range of smartphones, often with the case still fitted, while sturdy threaded thumb screws hold both phone and eyepiece securely in place. The manually adjusted design makes alignment straightforward, with separate tightening and adjustment points to centre the phone camera over the eyepiece. Riflescopes are not compatible.
