Cramele Recas Bloody Cabernet Vegan Red Wine

From Cramele Recas in Banat, Bloody Cabernet is a dry red wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon with 13% ABV. It shows richness, density and concentration, supported by a tight backbone and a ripe, expressive core.

Chocolate brownie, wild berry and raspberry lead the profile, followed by hints of mint and cranberry with touches of cloves and nutmeg. The grapes were selected from the Gipsy Hill, Izvin and Pestera vineyards, then cold macerated for two days at 5°C before a two-week alcoholic fermentation at 27°C. After full malolactic fermentation, the wine was matured in stainless steel tanks with French oak staves for 60 days. Serve at 14°C, particularly with powerful pasta dishes and roasted red meats.
