Murfatlar Zestrea Feteasca Neagra Red Wine

From Romania’s Dobrogea region, Murfatlar Zestrea Feteasca Neagra is a late harvest red wine made from Feteasca Neagra. Medium sweet in style and bottled at 12.5% ABV, it shows a dark red colour with garnet shades and a generous, ripe fruit character.

The palate brings overripe cherries, dried plums and blackberries, supported by well-integrated woodiness, soft tannins and medium acidity. A delicate finish and lingering aftertaste give it a rounded, composed profile. It suits hearty dishes, particularly oven-roasted meats, red meat stew, sarmale prepared in the cauldron and lamb ribs.
