From Romania’s Banat region, Cramele Recas Selene Merlot is a dry red wine made from Merlot grapes and bottled at 14% ABV. Matured for six months in French oak barrels, it shows an elegant, generous character with a medium body, well-integrated alcohol and very good acidity.

Night-harvested ripe grapes help preserve the wine’s aromatic richness. Raspberry, vanilla and fine hints of smoke lead the profile, while the finish is long and velvety. Vegan friendly and well suited to serving with cheeses or desserts made with dark chocolate, it is best enjoyed at 14–16°C.
