Domeniul Coroanei Segarcea Elite Merlot Red Wine

From Domeniul Coroanei Segarcea in Oltenia, Elite Merlot is a dry red wine made from Merlot grapes and bottled at 14% ABV. Produced from selected fruit grown on calcareous chernozem soils, it is vinified using modern methods and partially matured in French oak barrels, giving the wine a polished, structured style.

The profile is full-bodied and velvety, with soft tannins and a long, fresh finish. Aromas of dried plums, black cherries, raspberries and forest berries are layered with woody notes, vanilla, spice, toasted wood, aromatic herbs and liquorice, making it well suited to red meat dishes, pasta with rich sauces, mature cheeses or dark chocolate desserts. Serve at 18-20°C.
