Synopses

A Time of Dread

The Ben-Elim rule the Banished lands after defeating a demon horde, enforcing their dominion with brutality as doubts grow over whether the enemy is truly gone. In the north, Drem finds mutilated bodies in the forest that point to demonic black magic, while in the south Riv uncovers a deadly rift within the Ben-Elim.

A Time of Blood

After the battle of Starstone Lake, Drem and his companions flee to warn the Order of the Bright Star, haunted by what they have witnessed: magic that twists men into beasts and a demon rising from the dead into something new. Their escape is threatened by Fritha, the demons’ high priestess, who is determined to track them down.

A Time of Courage

The King of the Otherworld is free, and Asroth prepares to lead a demonic war-host south, armed with new starstone weapons and aided by his bride, Fritha. In Forn Forest, Riv and the surviving Ben-Elim hold a war council and decide to fly west to join the Order of the Bright Star, while Drem and the Order face siege as their defences begin to falter.
