Julia Quinn’s The Lyndon Sisters and The Lady Most Likely Saga Series brings together four novels in one collection, spanning house parties, unexpected reunions and marriages that begin in the most unpromising circumstances. Each story follows characters navigating duty, family expectations and attraction, with settings that range from country estates to a remote Scottish castle.

In The Lady Most Likely, Hugh Dunne, Earl of Briarly, is pressed to find a wife when his sister compiles a list of eligible young women and invites them to a house party, alongside other bachelors. Elsewhere, an annual Christmas journey to Scotland takes an unusual turn, while past heartbreak resurfaces when Robert Kemble encounters Victoria Lyndon again. The collection also includes a chance meeting that quite literally falls into place, setting events in motion.

Synopses

The Lady Most Likely

Hugh Dunne, the Earl of Briarly, needs a wife, but would rather stay with the stables where he trains Arabian racehorses. His sister responds by drawing up a list of the best young ladies and inviting them to a house party, with additional bachelors in attendance.

The Lady Most Willing

On their annual Christmas trip to Scotland to visit an aged uncle in his decrepit castle, the Comte de Rochefort and his cousin, the Earl of Oakley, receive unusual gifts. Their uncle is determined to secure his ancient birth right before he dies, and decides to take matters into his own hands when neither nephew seems eager to marry.

Everything and the Moon

Robert Kemble comes across Victoria Lyndon in a hedgerow maze and is stunned to see her again. He remembers the girl who let him plan an elopement and then left him by the roadside, and finds that even his fury cannot make her easy to resist.

Brighter then the Sun

Charles Wycombe, the dashing and incorrigible Earl of Billington, tumbles out of a tree and lands at Ellie’s feet. Neither expects that such an inauspicious first meeting will lead to marriage.
