From Santiago Matatlán in Oaxaca, Rosaluna Mezcal Espadín is an artisan mezcal made from 8-year-old Espadín agave and bottled at 40% ABV. Production takes place on a fully integrated single estate, where growing, harvesting, cooking, fermenting, distilling and bottling are all managed in-house.

Six generations of Oaxacan heritage shape a style that brings agave character to the fore, with a clear, fruit-led profile and restrained smoke. Certified organic, vegan, gluten-free and non-GMO, it is made using only agave and water.

Tasting notes

Nose

Bright citrus, pineapple, pear and tropical fruit, followed by roasted agave, soft caramel and a subtle touch of smoke.

Palate

Silky and fruit-led.

Finish

Gentle baking spice and lingering sweetness.

Serving suggestion

Best enjoyed neat in a copita or tasting glass at 18–22C. It also suits cocktails such as a mezcal margarita or paloma, and pairs well with ceviche, grilled seafood, spicy tacos and fresh citrus-based dishes.
