In Western Australia, Swinney brings a Bandol-inspired approach to the 2023 Farvie Mourvedre, shaping a red wine with depth, structure and clarity. Owner Matt Swinney and winemaker Rob Mann keep vineyard character at the centre, with oak used to add shape without overtaking the wine.

The palate combines deep richness with spice and floral lift, alongside substance, texture and layers of silky tannins. A cleansing sense of lightness, delicacy and precision gives the wine finesse as well as presence. It can be enjoyed now with decanting or cellared for graceful ageing over many years.
