Tamiya German Heavy Armoured Car Sd.Kfz.232 Africa Corps (1:35)

Used by the German military for reconnaissance in the early stages of WWII, the Sd.Kfz.232 is recreated here as a 1/35 scale model kit from Tamiya. This heavy armoured car variant is distinguished by its long-distance wireless radio and prominent antenna mounted on the upper hull, alongside turret armament that includes a 2cm gun and an MG34 machine gun. With its 8-wheeled layout, front and rear driving positions and 8 wheel drive system, the Sd.Kfz.232 served across multiple theatres, including Europe, North Africa and Russia.

To support a North African setting, the kit includes equipment such as early-type jerry cans and tools, plus two figures: a German officer in tropical uniform and a soldier for the turret. Photo-etched parts and an aluminium barrel for the 2cm gun add further detail, while decals provide marking options for the North African front (2), Balkans front (1) and Kursk front (1).
