What happens on the day

On arrival at the Courthouse Hotel, you’ll be greeted by staff and directed to the Soho Wala restaurant for your traditional afternoon tea. You’ll be served savoury finger sandwiches, pastries, cakes and scones with clotted cream and preserves, paired with your choice of tea and a glass of chilled Champagne each.

For your unlimited day of river cruising, you must take your pre-booked ticket to the City Cruises ticket office at Westminster, Tower or Greenwich Piers on the day of your experience. You may embark and disembark at Westminster, London Eye, Tower and Greenwich, travelling between them as many times as you wish during one day.

Participant guidelines

• Minimum age: 18
• Any disabilities must be disclosed at the time of booking. All passengers must be physically able to walk on to the boats with an able bodied helper and unfortunately no electronic wheelchairs are permitted

• This cruise must be pre-booked
• Vegetarian, gluten free and vegan options available but must be requested at time of booking
• The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to location
• Please note that the Silk Restaurant is closed, you can alternatively enjoy an afternoon tea at Soho Wala
• Vouchers are not accepted on the pier, and all bookings must be made in advance

Availability

• Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue
• The experience is available 7 days a week - subject to availability
• Excluded dates include: 25 December, 1 January, Valentine’s Period (13–14 February), UK Mother’s Day, Good Friday to Easter Monday, UK Father’s Day, and all Bank Holiday Mondays
• Please ensure you book and take your experience before your voucher expiry date, and we recommend booking at least 4 weeks in advance to secure availability
• Afternoon tea is served between 13:00–16:30 and must be pre-booked
• The river cruise can be boarded between 10:00–18:00 at any of the listed piers, subject to availability
• Afternoon tea lasts approximately 1 hour 30 minutes, and the cruise can be enjoyed all day with unlimited hop-on, hop-off access across four City Cruises piers
