What happens on the day

You’ll need to arrive 5 minutes before the start of your experience and present your voucher. You’ll then join the keepers inside the enclosure to meet the meerkats, feed them snacks and learn all about them.

Expect these friendly and curious creatures to use you as a climbing frame. There is plenty of time to take photos. You also receive all-day entry, so you can explore the centre for as long as you wish and see reptiles, raccoons, meerkats and more.

• Pregnant women are advised not to participate
• Minimum age: 8 (under 15s must be accompanied by a paying adult (either to participate or the entrance fee to watch))
• Maximum group size: 8

Availability

• Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue
• The experience is available Tuesday to Sunday, all year round, subject to availability. Exclusions may apply
• We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available (you are advised to allow four to six for weekend bookings). All bookings are subject to availability
• The Meerkat Encounter will last approximately 30 minutes. Please allow additional time to visit the rest of the centre
