Virgin Experience Days Meet and Greet a Highland Cow for Two

Set aside time for a calm and characterful animal encounter with the Meet and Greet a Highland Cow for Two. This 40 minute experience brings two guests into the paddock with Fergus and Merida, where there is time to get close to these distinctive Highland cows and enjoy guided, hands-on interaction.

During the session, you can brush their long coats, stroke their soft fringes and take photographs as you spend time with them in their paddock. After meeting the cows, you are free to wander around the ranch, where you may spot other animals including goats, reindeer, emus, horses, ducks, pigs and cats. With its gentle pace and relaxed setting, it makes a memorable day out for animal lovers.

What happens on the day

When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by the team and welcomed into the ranch. You’ll spend 40 minutes getting to know the Highland cows, Fergus and Merida. Afterwards, you’re free to wander around the ranch, where you may also spot other residents including goats, reindeer, emus and horses. There will be plenty of opportunities to take photos, so bring your camera phones along.

Participant guidelines

• Minimum age – 2yrs
• Spectators must hold a valid ticket to attend
• Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult
• This is not an experience suitable for people who are unable to move quickly away from the animals if required
• People have to be mobile and able to walk un-aided

Availability

• Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue
• The experience sessions are subject to availability. Due to popularity, advance booking is required. Guests will be offered a selection of available dates and times to choose from, but specific time requests cannot be guaranteed
• The experience is not available in December
• We recommend you book at least 4 weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability
• Please allow 40 minutes for the full experience
