Designed for rigging and lifting assemblies, these DIN1142 wire rope grips provide a practical way to form secure loops or create a temporary join in wire rope setups. This set includes 4 zinc plated grips sized to suit 22mm wire rope, making them suitable for use on board boats in rigging applications, as well as for similar uses on land.

Manufactured from mild steel with a zinc coating for corrosion resistance, each grip is intended for assemblies designed for lifting purposes and should be installed by a qualified person. For best results, grease the threads before fitting, keep spacing between grips at least 6 times the rope diameter, and ensure correct orientation with the U-bolt on the unloaded end of the rope. Nuts should be tightened evenly to the recommended torque settings, then checked again after 24 hours, after the first load application, and periodically during service.
