Designed as a coordinated pergola and decking solution, it’s supplied with pre-cut components and step-by-step instructions to support a straightforward set-up. The kit is intended to provide a level walking surface and a structured layout for outdoor use.

Rectangular sizing is based on the total decking/base area rather than the pergola frame. The pergola is designed to span the full width and half the depth of the base, with a standard 45cm overhang on all sides (front/back and sides). For a listed size example of 2.4m x 3.0m, the structural post footprint would be approximately 2.4m x 1.5m.

How to assemble

• Prepare the area by ensuring a flat, level surface
• Assemble the decking frame by securing joists, beams and decking planks, using the provided spacer block for spacing
• Install the pergola structure by positioning upright posts, attaching runners and rafters, and securing via pre-drilled holes using the included fixings
• Attach the pre-assembled balustrades, aligning and fixing securely
• Tools required: electric screwdriver, drill, socket wrench, spirit level and ladder
• Assembly requires a 10mm socket and screwdriver; a battery-operated model is recommended

Treatment & maintenance

Please note that due to the inherent characteristics of natural timber, product colours may vary from those depicted.

• Sweep regularly to remove leaves, dirt and debris
• Every few months, wash with mild soap and water using a soft-bristle brush
• Inspect at least once a year for loose screws, nails or cracked boards; tighten fasteners and replace damaged boards if needed
• Apply a wood sealant or stain every 1–3 years; if water sprinkled on the boards absorbs quickly, apply a new coat
• Avoid pressure washers at high settings, harsh de-icing salts, and use a plastic shovel for snow clearance
