From Banfi, Cum Laude 2022 is a red wine defined by expressive fruit and a poised, structured palate. The nose is characterised by red-fruit aromas led by intense cherry notes, lifted by spicy hints of liquorice and pepper. On the palate, it shows a broad structure with sweet, powerful tannins, finishing with impressive balance and persistence.

Founded in 1978 by Italian-American brothers John and Harry Mariani, Banfi brings together winemaking passion and technological innovation. Working with renowned winemaker Ezio Rivella, the estate’s Montalcino land was developed with a focus on quality and potential, later complemented by the acquisition of the historic Piedmontese winery Bruzzone. Banfi is also committed to responsible environmental stewardship, achieving sustainable Equalitas certification at organisational and product level for selected productions, including Brunello di Montalcino Poggio all’Oro 2016 as the first Brunello di Montalcino to receive this certification.
