Designed to bring a more architectural finish to a boundary, the Berkfield Garden Gate is a corten steel garden gate that combines a clean, robust form with a distinctive weathered appearance. Sized at 105 x 180 cm, it offers a striking entrance for a garden or patio fence line while maintaining a practical, secure design.

Made from corten steel, also known as weathering steel, this gate develops a protective rusty surface layer when exposed to atmospheric conditions. That natural anti-corrosive characteristic removes the need for painting, while the evolving brown-toned finish gives the gate its individual character over time. A lockable system adds security, and the gate post base includes 4 mounting holes so it can be fixed to the ground for added stability.

Treatment & maintenance

This product is supplied with a normal metal colour and will develop its rusted surface over time. You can speed up the rusting process by spraying it with soap water and salt water. To avoid staining clothing, avoid contact with the developing rust layer.
