Celestron E-lux 2" 40 mm Eyepiece

Low-power, wide-field viewing comes naturally to the Celestron E-lux 2-inch 40mm eyepiece, a telescope accessory built around a 3-element Kellner optical design with fully multi-coated optics. With a 56 apparent field of view and a 40mm focal length, it suits telescopes with a 2-inch focuser and offers a broad, immersive view for general astronomical observing.

Comfort has been given equal attention. The long 36mm eye relief and fold-down rubber eyeguard make viewing easier for both eyeglass wearers and non-eyeglass wearers, while the machined aluminium housing has a black anodised finish. Inside the barrel, matte black light-dispersion threads help reduce internal reflections. The eyepiece is also threaded to accept most 2-inch filters.
