Celestron NexYZ DX Universal Smartphone Adapter Kit with Bluetooth remote

Bringing smartphone digiscoping within easy reach, the Celestron NexYZ DX Universal Smartphone Adapter Kit pairs a three-axis eyepiece adapter with a Bluetooth shutter release remote for steadier image and video capture. This astro photography accessory connects a smartphone to telescopes, binoculars, spotting scopes, monoculars and microscopes, with compatibility across eyepieces from 35mm to 60mm and down to 25mm for standard microscope eyepieces using the included adapter rings.

The adjustable phone platform fits a wide range of smartphones, including larger models, and usually accommodates them with the case still on. X-, Y- and Z-axis adjustment is controlled by knobs with a rack and pinion system, allowing precise alignment of the phone camera over the eyepiece. A spring-loaded eyepiece clamp with lock-down knob, together with a strong metal spring and threaded twist lock, keeps the setup secure during use. The Bluetooth remote connects to Android and iOS smartphones and allows photos to be taken or video recording to be started and stopped without touching the screen or buttons.
