Sharper nebula imaging in light-polluted skies is the focus of this Celestron Nebula Filter for the Origin Intelligent Home Observatory Telescope. Made specifically for the Celestron Origin and its fast f/2. 2 optical system, it transmits the key Hα, Hβ and OIII wavelengths associated with emission nebulae while suppressing unwanted light from artificial skyglow and natural sky glow.

Schott glass, optically flat surfaces and anti-reflective coatings support clean light transmission, while the machined black anodised aluminium cell includes a knurled rim for secure handling during installation. The filter slides directly into Origin’s front filter drawer in place of the clear optical window, with no additional adapter required and no change to the telescope’s optical path. It suits emission nebula imaging with objects such as M42, M8 and NGC 7000, and should be removed when observing or imaging broadband targets such as star clusters and galaxies.
