Celestron SkyPortal WiFi Module for IOS and Android

App-based telescope control becomes far more immediate with the Celestron SkyPortal WiFi Module, a wireless accessory for compatible Celestron mounts. Connecting directly to the hand control or AUX port, it links the telescope to the SkyPortal app on iOS and Android devices, allowing alignment, slewing and object selection from a smartphone or tablet screen.

Used with Celestron’s SkyPortal app, the module opens access to a database of more than 100,000 celestial objects, alongside audio descriptions and a Sky Tour feature that recommends targets based on the device’s time and location. Session planning is also supported, including lunar transits and other notable events up to 100 years ahead. For compatible GoTo telescope users, it offers a straightforward wireless alternative to wired hand control.
