Chateau Purcari Purcari 1827 Merlot Moldovan Red Wine

From Château Purcari, Purcari 1827 Merlot is a dry red wine from the Republic of Moldova made from hand-harvested Merlot grapes. Traditional vinification and 12 months of ageing in French oak barrels give it a velvety character with a more structured finish.

Ruby red in the glass, it brings together oak, blackberry and rose with a pleasant astringency and a lingering aftertaste. This is a polished bottle to serve alongside smoked duck breast, turkey, veal fillet, pork steak or prosciutto snacks.
