Synopsis

In Helios’s household, Circe is born unlike the powerful and fearsome gods around her and is pushed to the margins. She discovers witchcraft and, when her abilities alarm the gods, she is exiled to Aiaia to refine her occult craft. There she casts spells, gathers herbs and tames wild beasts, until her isolation is disrupted by visitors, including the mortal Odysseus.
