From Crama Ceptura in Romania’s Muntenia region, Cervus Magnus Monte is a dry red wine made from Feteasca Neagra. The winery released its first wines in 2005, a year after it was built in Ceptura, and it forms part of the Purcari Group.

Garnet red in the glass, this 14% ABV wine shows a complex aroma of dried plums, blackcurrants and cinnamon. The palate is broad, velvety and sufficiently full-bodied, with soft tannins. Its depth and structure make it a natural match for smoked cheeses, game and red meat, particularly beef.
