From Paper High, the Indra A4 Embossed Leather Journal with Semi-Precious Stone is a beautifully detailed, Fair Trade, hand-crafted journal designed for writing, journaling, drawing, painting and scrapbooking. Made using a blend of contemporary and traditional methods, each piece is hand bound and finished with embossed detailing created using small handmade tools, so every journal has its own character.

The leather cover is made from a by-product of the meat industry in India and is tanned using only natural dyes, then protected with natural oils to soften and age over time. Semi-precious stones are stitched onto the cover and, by nature, may vary slightly. Each journal is also made with unlined, handmade khadda paper (also known as kaddi or khaddi), crafted by hand from recycled, unbleached cotton salvaged from the Indian garment industry. Lightly textured and luxuriously thick, it is ideal for ball-point pens, gel pens and watercolours; fountain pens are not recommended.
