Hand crafted by Fair Trade artisans, the Paper High Indra A4 Embossed & Stitched Leather Journal with Semi-Precious Stone is made to travel with you and take on everyday knocks and bumps. Each cover is bound by hand using leather that is a by-product of the meat industry in India, tanned with natural dyes and protected with natural oils to help it soften and age over time. Embossed detailing is created with small handmade tools, so every journal has its own character and the pattern may vary from the one pictured.

Inside, you’ll find unlined pages of handmade khadda paper (also known as kaddi or khaddi), crafted from recycled, unbleached cotton salvaged from waste in the Indian garment industry. Acid-free and lightly textured, it’s a pleasure to write, draw or paint on, and is suitable for ball-point pens, gel pens and watercolours; fountain pens are not recommended. Semi-precious stones are stitched onto each journal and, by nature, may differ slightly from piece to piece.
