Conversations with Friends

Frances is twenty-one, a student in Dublin and an aspiring writer. At night, she performs spoken word with her best friend Bobbi, who used to be her girlfriend.

After an interview, they are befriended by Melissa, a well-known journalist married to Nick, an actor. The relationship draws them into beautiful houses, lively dinner parties and holidays in Provence, as a complex ménage-à-quatre begins.

Normal People

Connell and Marianne grow up in the same small town in the west of Ireland, but their school lives are very different: Connell is popular, while Marianne is a loner. When they begin talking, an awkward but electrifying conversation sets something life-changing in motion.

The story follows mutual fascination, friendship and love from that first exchange into the years beyond, as they try to stay apart but find they cannot.
