Compact enough to travel easily yet equipped for computerised observing, the Sky-Watcher Skymax-102 AZ-GTi WiFi Go-To Maksutov-Cassegrain Telescope combines a 102mm Maksutov-Cassegrain optical tube with a 1300mm focal length and f/12. 7 optical system on a computerised alt-azimuth mount. Built-in Wi-Fi allows the mount to create its own network, so operation through the free SynScan app for iOS and Android does not rely on an external Wi-Fi or mobile connection.

The long focal length and fully multi-coated optics suit detailed viewing of the Moon, bright planets and double stars, while Sky-Watcher’s Freedom-Find dual-encoder technology allows manual movement in either axis without losing positional data. The AZ-GTi mount includes Go-To control with a database of 10,000+ objects, and the supplied aluminium tripod has adjustable legs and a built-in pier extension. A Universal Smartphone Camera Adaptor is also included for phones between 54-90mm wide.
