Celestron NexStar 130SLT Computerised Telescope

For observers who want the convenience of computerised tracking without moving to a larger mount, the Celestron NexStar 130SLT brings together a 130mm Newtonian reflector, 650mm focal length and fast f/5 optics on a computerised alt-azimuth single fork arm mount. It is a well-established Celestron telescope with fully colour-corrected reflector optics and a no-tool setup that keeps preparation straightforward.

The pre-assembled adjustable stainless-steel tripod, quick-release fork arm and NexStar+ hand control make it easy to get started, while SkyAlign allows alignment using three bright objects in the sky. Supplied with 25mm and 9mm eyepieces, the NexStar 130SLT offers 26x and 72x magnification out of the box, with a StarPointer red dot finderscope included for quicker object location. It suits astronomical observing as well as daytime terrestrial viewing, and it is powered by 8 AA batteries or a 12V AC adapter sold separately.
