Celestron NexStar 127SLT Computerised Telescope

For observers who want computerised guidance without a complicated setup, the Celestron NexStar 127 SLT brings together a 127mm Maksutov-Cassegrain optical tube, 1500mm focal length and a computerised alt-azimuth single fork arm mount in one straightforward package. It suits daytime viewing as well as planetary, lunar and deep-sky observation, with a no-tool assembly and SkyAlign procedure that gets the telescope ready quickly.

The mount is paired with a pre-assembled, adjustable stainless-steel tripod and NexStar+ hand control. Its database covers 40,000 celestial objects, with Sky Tour for generating a list of visible targets based on time and location. A StarPointer red dot finderscope, 1. 25-inch star diagonal and two eyepieces are included, while power comes from 8 AA batteries or a 12V AC adapter, both sold separately. A free download of Celestron Starry Night Special Edition astronomy software is also included.
