Compact in form yet long in focal length, the Sky-Watcher Skymax-102S MAK is a 102mm Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope with a 1300mm focal length and an AZ Pronto manual alt-azimuth mount. This updated version adds a collimatable primary mirror cell, bringing straightforward optical alignment to a design already valued for its portability and controlled handling.

Its f/12. 74 optical system is fully multi-coated, with RAQ coatings on the primary and secondary mirrors and MHTC on the corrector plate. The result is a high-resolution setup suited to detailed views of the Moon, bright planets and double stars, while the supplied smartphone camera adaptor adds a simple way to capture images through the telescope.
