Compact and easy to transport, the Sky-Watcher Startravel 102 Wi-Fi is an achromatic refractor telescope with a 102mm aperture, 500mm focal length and f/4. 9 focal ratio, supplied on an AZ-GO2 Wi-Fi Go-To alt-azimuth mount. Control is handled wirelessly through the free SynScan App for iOS or Android, with the mount’s built-in Wi-Fi module creating its own network for use without relying on external Wi-Fi or mobile coverage.

Its fully multi-coated, two-element air-spaced optical system is suited to rich-field astronomical viewing, with supplied x25 and x50 magnifications from the included 20mm and 10mm eyepieces. The package also includes a universal smartphone camera adaptor, making it possible to attach a phone with a width of 54-90mm. For beginners and travel use alike, this model combines a portable optical tube with computerised Go-To operation, dual-axis tracking and an adjustable stainless steel tripod.
