Tamiya Republic P-47D Thunderbolt Razorback (1:48 Scale)

Built around the Republic P-47D Thunderbolt, this Tamiya model kit captures the early-production “razorback” variant in 1:48 scale. The aircraft’s distinctive upper fuselage profile behind the cockpit is represented alongside the Thunderbolt’s substantial airframe, with particular attention given to the belly and engine cowling.

Designed as an assembly kit for adult constructors, it includes a wide selection of optional parts to vary the finished look. Flaps are supplied as separate components for an up or down position, while the engine cowling flaps and intercooler air outlets on each side of the fuselage can be built open or closed. A selection of external stores is also included, along with a pilot figure and decals for two different markings.
