Tamiya Toyota Celica LB Turbo Gr.5 (1:20 Scale)

Developed for the 1977 DRM (German Racing Championship), the Toyota Celica LB Turbo was a Group 5 machine that made its debut in July 1977 and went on to beat the Porsche 935 for its maiden victory that October. This Tamiya plastic model assembly kit recreates the highly modified fastback form, complete with the distinctive aerodynamic additions seen on the race car.

Built to 1/24 scale, the model measures 240mm long, 105mm wide and 61mm high. A removable front cowl reveals the detailed inline-4 DOHC turbo engine, while the interior includes a recreated roll cage. Solid synthetic rubber tyres are supplied in different widths front and rear, and Cartograf decals provide a choice of No. 56 or No. 68 markings. A driver figure is also included for an authentic finishing touch.
