Tamiya German Marder I Tank Destroyer (1:35 Scale)

Part of the long-running Tamiya 1/35 Military Miniature Series, the German Marder I Tank Destroyer is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit depicting an early German anti-tank conversion based on the French Lorraine supply tractor. Produced from May 1942, the Marder I mounted a 7.5cm Pak40 anti-tank gun and saw service in multiple theatres, including France after the Normandy landings, the Eastern Front and North Africa.

Tamiya designers worked closely with a specimen at the Musée de Blindés, Saumur, capturing the compact chassis and distinctive upper hull with rivet and weld line detail. The interior includes gun breech detail, sights, racks and radio equipment, while assembly-type tracks include single-piece straight sections. Two figures are included, along with three marking options: two from Normandy and one from the Eastern Front.
