Tamiya German Tank Destroyer Marder III (1:35 Scale)

Created as a stopgap tank hunter during the summer of 1941, the German Marder III Sd. Kfz. 139 combined the chassis of the Pz. Kpfw. 38(t) with the improved captured Soviet 7.62cm Pak36(r) anti-tank gun. This Tamiya 1/35 scale plastic assembly model kit recreates the distinctive open fighting compartment and gun installation, with detailed internal equipment such as the main gun plate, gun supports and ammunition rack.

Designed for adult constructors, the kit includes moving elements linked to the main gun’s elevation, plus options to model crew seats and the large gun clamp in either fighting or travelling positions. Two crew figures are supplied, along with five battlefield marking choices, for an authentic finish to a historically significant vehicle.
