Virgin Experience Days Murder Mystery Evening for Two

Step into an evening of intrigue with this murder mystery dinner for two. Set around a three-course meal, the experience combines live entertainment with audience participation as the story unfolds around your table. Professional actors take on the key roles, including suspects and victims, and mingle with guests throughout the night, giving you the chance to question them and piece together the evidence.

As the evening progresses, scenes of arguments, fights and reconciliations reveal further clues before the mystery reaches its dramatic turning point. After dinner coffee, the suspects are cross-examined and guests are invited to share their theories before the murderer is revealed. A distinctive choice for a shared evening out, it brings together dining, theatre and deduction in one event.

What happens on the day

Guests arrive from 19.00 ready for the murder mystery event, which starts at 19.30, and dinner is served at 20.00. Each event features five or six professional actors who play the central roles in the story while mingling with guests throughout the evening and answering questions as each guest investigates the background.

Various scenes, including arguments, fights, reconciliations and more, are re-enacted among the guests to provide further clues and lead up to someone being murdered towards the end of the evening. Over coffee, the suspects are lined up to be publicly cross-examined before guests give their theories and the murderer is unveiled.

The experience is available on selected Saturdays. Most locations are only available two or three times a year.

We recommend you book at least 12 weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
