What happens on the day

Your ticket for The View from The Shard must be pre-booked so you can arrive and make your way to the attraction, shortening time spent in queues. You can enjoy the visit at your leisure with no time restriction, taking as long as you like to enjoy the views. You’ll take the elevator up to the indoor viewing platform on Level 69 and, if you choose, continue to Level 72 for the open-air platform.

London Steakhouse Co. is not located within The Shard. It is a 30-minute journey away. After your sightseeing experience, you can make your way across the river to Marco Pierre White’s London Steakhouse Co. for your meal. On arrival, you’ll be greeted with a cocktail each before choosing three courses from a set lunch or dinner menu.

Participant guidelines

• For the purposes of entry, adults are deemed to be 18 and over
• Children are deemed to be between 4 and 17
• Children aged 3 or under are admitted free of charge
• All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult
• There is disabled access to the view - please check for full details at the time of booking
• Soft drink alternative for those under 18

Please note

• A discretionary 9.5% service charge will be presented with the bill and a £1.50 cover charge per person
• Additional drinks and side orders are not included but can be purchased on the day
• The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary
• If you book outside of the 48-hour window for Friday and Saturday evening bookings, your voucher will be applied as credit towards the standard à la carte menu, with the value deducted from your final bill

Availability

• We recommend bookings at least 4 weeks in advance to ensure availability
• Please allow time to travel between the two venues
• All bookings are subject to availability
• No same day bookings. Please note you must pre-book your experience 24 hours in advance. Failure to do this may result in refused entry
• Dates are released 3 months in advance
• Planned maintenance works at The Shard (January-July 2026) - be sure to check their website directly to see how this will affect certain accessibility areas. During this period, certain areas of the attraction will be temporarily closed at selected times
• Please note that Friday and Saturday evening bookings can only be made within 48 hours of the experience. Availability for these slots are released at 9:00am on Wednesday and Thursday of the same week
• Please note there is a 48 hour cancellation policy that applies to all meal reservations, after which time you won't be able to amend or cancel a reservation
• Please allow approximately 1 hour for The Shard visit and 1.5 hours for your meal
