Virgin Experience Days Romantic 30 Minute Flight Experience with Bottle of Fizz and Chocolates for Two

Take to the skies together with this romantic 30 minute flight experience for two. One person will enjoy a trial flying lesson in a light aircraft, while their guest joins as an observer to share the views from the back seat. It is an unusual day out with a celebratory finish, and the flight time counts towards a Private Pilot's Licence.

Before take-off, your instructor will give a full briefing covering the aircraft controls and the principles of flight. Once airborne, the participant will have the chance to take the controls for the lesson, followed by a bottle of fizz on landing and a certificate signed by the instructor. Spectators are welcome, making it easy to share the occasion.

What happens on the day

Arrive at your chosen airfield location and meet your instructor for the session. The trial lesson begins with a short flight briefing covering the effects of the controls and how an aeroplane flies. You will then have the opportunity to take the controls and fly the aircraft, while your loved one enjoys the views from the back seat. Afterwards, you can enjoy your complimentary fizz.

Participant guidelines

• Minimum age: 14
• Maximum weight: 30 stone combined
• Spectators are welcome and may take photographs
• Passengers with a disability are asked to contact Adventure 001 prior to their experience so that an informed decision of their participation, taking into account health and safety, can be made

Please note

• Due to the recent increase in aviation fuel, a surcharge of £4.50 is payable directly to the supplier on the day of your experience
• Customers are able to request the release of their experience voucher once they have reached a maximum of five postponements

• Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue
• The experience is available on selected dates throughout the year
• Saturdays are limited due to popularity
• We recommend you book at least eight weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available
• Please allow approximately 2 hours for the whole experience
• At some locations the 30 minute flight time includes taxi time
