Set at the 100% carbon neutral Quiet Site in Ullswater, this short break combines a back-to-basics camping feel with access to a range of on-site facilities, making it a distinctive choice for couples or small families.

Your stay is in an Eco-Pod for up to two adults and two small children. Each pod is empty on arrival apart from a thermostatically controlled heater, lamp and two 10 amp plug sockets, so you can bring your own camping gear and settle in. On site, there is access to a zero waste shop, 16th century bar, wood fired pizza oven, games room, free Wi-Fi and showers, with lakeside walks and views close by.

What happens on the day

Once you have arrived at the glamp site, you will be greeted by a member of the team and shown to your pod. Each pod has plenty of headroom and a floor area of approximately seven square metres, with space for two people or two adults and two small children.

Each timber pod is built for changing British weather, with ventilation for hot days and lamb's wool insulation for colder conditions. You will need to bring your own camping gear, including your beds and bedding.

Participant guidelines

• Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult
• Due to the rural location the experience is not suitable for wheelchair users
• The Quiet Site allow one dog per camping pod with advance booking for an additional fee, please enquire when booking. On site, dogs must remain on a lead at all times
• Please note: Guide Dogs for the Blind and Hearing Dogs for Profoundly Deaf People will be accepted by prior arrangement

• Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
• This experience is available Sunday to Thursday, not including school holidays and bank holidays, throughout the year
• We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability
• The pods are available from 15.00 on the day of your arrival until 10.30 on the morning of departure
