Set within the woods at Port Lympne, this one-night glamping stay offers an unusual short break for up to four people. The stay includes a standard glamping pod with heating, bedding, two single beds, a double futon and storage, combining a simple outdoor setting with practical comforts for the night.

Alongside the overnight stay, guests have access to Port Lympne, home to over 900 animal residents, as well as seats on the iconic Truck Safari through the African and Asian experiences. The following morning, a hot drink and bagel at Pinewood Café round off the stay. Subject to seasonal opening hours, access to Howletts Wild Animal Park is also included.

What happens on the day

On arrival, you’ll be welcomed and checked into your glamping pod for the night. Inside, you’ll find heating and bedding, with access to communal toilets and shower rooms.

Following a restful night’s sleep, the next day begins with a hot drink and bagel at Pinewood Café. Throughout your stay, you’ll have access to Port Lympne, as well as seats on the iconic Truck Safari. Subject to seasonal opening hours, you can also visit Howletts Wild Animal Park.

Participant guidelines

• Under 18s must be accompanied by a full paying adult
• Port Lympne Reserve covers 600 acres of ancient parkland, including a combination of hilly and flat terrain that can sometimes be steep and uneven
• Entrance to the park is via a ramped footbridge with designated disabled parking available at the base of the footbridge on hard standing
• For those needing assistance, the park has an on-call minibus and can transport you to any area required. Please notify any member of staff if you require assistance and this will be arranged
• Wheelchairs are available for hire at the gatehouse
• Assistance dogs are welcome to the park but not on the safari. Please speak to a member of the team prior to arrival
• Disabled toilets and baby changing facilities are available throughout the park

• Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
• This experience is available Sunday to Friday between January and November inclusive, with some blackout dates (22 November to 4 January) and further limitations at peak times, including Easter, Christmas, Valentines Day, and school holidays
• We recommend you book at least 12 weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability
