Voruta Natural Blackcurrant Wine N.V.

From Voruta, Natural Blackcurrant Wine N.V. follows a recipe first created in 1927 by the company’s founder, Balys Karazija. Made from carefully selected blackcurrants grown in Lithuania, this semi-sweet wine is defined by its rich colour and balanced flavour, finishing with a lingering blackcurrant aftertaste.

At the table, it pairs particularly well with red meat dishes, stewed game, cured boar ham and sausage, as well as long-aged cheeses. Serve at 14–16 °C to enjoy its character at its best. It is also suitable for preparing mulled wine drinks, although boiling is not recommended.
