Amethystos Cabernet Sauvignon - Merlot - Agiorgitiko Greek Red Wine (750ml - 14%)

From northern Greece’s Drama region, Amethystos Cabernet Sauvignon - Merlot - Agiorgitiko is a Greek red wine shaped by vineyards on north-facing slopes at 200–300 metres. The blend brings together Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Agiorgitiko, combining Bordeaux varieties with a classic Greek grape. It is bottled at 14% ABV.

Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks after de-stemming and crushing, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine is then matured for 12 months in barrel, with 25% new oak. Bright purple in the glass, it shows layered aromas of red forest fruits, cherry jam and spices. It suits hearty dishes particularly well, including lamb, beef in red sauce and soft mature cheeses such as Brie and Camembert.
