Celestron NexStar Evolution 5 Computerised Telescope

Built for streamlined, app-led observing, the Celestron NexStar Evolution 5 is a Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope with a 125mm aperture, 1250mm focal length and f/10 optical system on a computerised alt-azimuth mount. Built-in Wi-Fi works with the free Celestron SkyPortal app, giving direct control from a smartphone or tablet, while StarBright XLT optical coatings support bright, sharp views.

This model combines a single fork arm mount with an internal lithium iron phosphate battery, manual clutches in altitude and azimuth, and integrated carry handles for easier setup and transport. The all-metal tripod includes a metal accessory tray, and a USB charging port is built in for powering a smart device during observing sessions. A traditional NexStar+ hand control is included, alongside two 1. 25-inch Plossl eyepieces, a 1. 25-inch 90 prism star diagonal and a StarPointer red dot finderscope. Suitable for visual observing and for those beginning with astroimaging, it is also compatible with the HD Pro Wedge when used with the CPC tripod, both available separately.
