Château La Nerthe Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2020

From Château La Nerthe, the Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2020 is a considered red wine shaped by long-established expertise from an estate owned by the family supplying wines and coffees to the Richard restaurants since 1985. Vines over 40 years old are organically cultivated, then harvested by hand at optimum ripeness. After sorting, the grapes are fermented for almost 4 weeks with periodic pumping over and punching down, alongside temperature-controlled fermentation. The wine is then racked into oak vats for malolactic fermentation, before ageing in large French oak barrels and casks for 12 months.
