From Louis Latour, Nuits-Saint-Georges 2023 is a red Burgundy wine from the most southerly village of the Côte de Nuits, a commune known for producing almost exclusively red wines. Nuits-Saint-Georges is recognised worldwide, with a story that includes Apollo XV carrying the wine into space and lending its name to a lunar crater.

In the glass, it shows an intense, deeply coloured profile with pronounced, complex fruit notes of cherries, blackcurrants and violets, layered with truffles and spices. The palate brings subtle, integrated oak flavours alongside peppery notes, with a medium-bodied, concentrated character and an admirably long finish. As described for Nuits-Saint-Georges reds, this style benefits from some years of ageing to reveal the finest expressions of Pinot Noir.
