Viña Vik Winery La Piu Belle 2021

From Viña Vik Winery, La Piu Belle 2021 is an intense, complex red wine shaped by the Millahue terroir. Its bouquet is described as transporting, with fresh notes and damp earth revealing an unfamiliar side of Carmenère, balanced by a pleasant freshness and layered aromatics.

In the glass, the profile builds through ripe fruit character, with notes of blackberries, prunes, blueberries and forest fruits. Cabernet Sauvignon contributes strawberries and raspberries, while Syrah brings cassis and floral notes, creating a fine, well-balanced aromatic expression.

The vineyard location in Millahue (Mapuche for “place of gold”) was selected after two years of scientific research and more than 4,000 deep-soil studies. Climate conditions were considered in detail, with weather stations installed and a team of scientists and wine agricultural experts researching exposures to sun and wind, soil types and conditions, hydric flows, thermal amplitude and geographic orientation.
